POWER

Our small group is at present studying Luke and many passages remind us of the Power of Jesus during his human ministry. In chapter 6  many had come to hear him and to be healed , verse 19 says ' And all in the crowd were trying to touch him , for power came out from him and healed all of them' .

I was reminded of a painting I had seen many years ago at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco in Venice.  The painting is of the Resurrection and I was struck by the light accompanying Christ as he rises from the tomb , it conveyed massive energy , amazing power. That  ' Resurrection Power'  is still with us today and confidence in that can help as we struggle through these difficult  times.
