THE STRONGHOLD.

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid?

While we are emerging from the ‘Lockdown’, we may feel life is limping back to some sort of normalcy, but still there are lots of questions in most people’s mind about What if….? How can….? When will I ….?

While we still have anxieties and worries surrounding our every day lives, this verse from psalmist is very encouraging and asks us to put our faith at the forefront, in all that we are doing.

The Lord is my light and my salvation :

The Lord is my light - He shines light into our lives, where there are areas of darkness, which has to come to the light, and also shines His light on the way we have to walk, leading the way.

He is my salvation - He does not leave us there, by He saves us, as we walk in faith on the path shown to us by His light.

The Lord is the stronghold of my life : the ultimate declaration of faith. I shall not fear anything in this life, what may come across my way, will not harm me, for The Lord is the stronghold of my life. This applies to any situation which we can face or find ourselves in, lets declare “The Lord is the stronghold of my life”

Finally, take comfort in singing this lovely hymn:

In heavenly armour we’ll enter the land

The battle belongs to the Lord

No weapon that’s fashioned against us shall stand

The battle belongs to the Lord

We sing glory and honour

Power and strength to the Lord

The power of darkness comes in like a flood

The battle belongs to the Lord

He’s raised spa standard, the power of His blood

When your enemy presses in hard do not fear

TAKE COURAGE MY FRIEND, YOUR REDEMPTION IS NEAR

THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD

Remember, to proclaim the victory over every circumstance, every situation, every time when you have the doubts “THE LORD IS THE STRONGHOLD OF MY LIFE”

Let us therefore, march in Courage, in Power, in Love, declaring our faith.
