The Ascension - or Jesus returning to his Father after completing his earthly work. Before He left Jesus prepared the disciples for his going away, answering their questions, encouraging them to continue His work of reconciling back to God and saving this world. Then returned to his Father's side - not to forget us but to continue to remember us and pray for us.
